Air travel

Around 60 airlines offer direct flights from and to Hamburg Airport, making Hamburg accessible from approximately 130 national and international cities and more than 40 countries without changing planes.

The Airport is located in the Northern part of the city, in the district of Fuhlsb├╝ttel. You can find your flight connection on the Hamburg Airport website or use our flight search.

Travel from the airport to the Hamburg Fair site is by S-Bahn (rapid transit train), Line S1, which takes about 25 minutes; or by taxi, which takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

A single ticket costs approx. EUR 3. A day ticket costs approx. EUR 6 (9 am day ticket) / EUR 7.50 (All-day ticket) per person.

The normal cost for a taxi from the Airport to Hamburg Fair or CCH is about EUR 20.00. There are no fixed journey prices for taxis in Hamburg.
